From the North
Take the A488 Shrewsbury-Bishop’s Castle road. Leave Minsterley and pass up the Hope Valley. At the top, 8 km after Minsterley, take a sharp left turn on a road signposted Shelve and (brown sign) The Bog Visitor Centre. Follow this minor road through Shelve to a T-junction after about 3 km. Turn right and follow this road for 1 km. With the Visitor Centre on the right, follow the road round to the left and the car park entrance is on the right.
From the South
Take the A488 through Lydham and White Grit. About 10 km from Lydham turn right on to the road signposted Shelve and (brown sign) The Bog Visitor Centre. Proceed through Shelve and onwards as directed above.
From the East
The easiest route is to follow the A489 west from the A49 just north of Craven arms to Lydham. From Lydham follow the instructions above as if approaching from the south.​
