If approaching from the south on the A483, pass through the village of Llanymynech, and go up the hill. After passing the small ‘Pant’ sign, but before the large 30mph sign, speed camera warning and 30 limit painted on the road surface, see the Cross Guns pub on the left and turn immediately left up Briggs Lane. Park by the roadside. As the Llanymynech Rocks Car Park is small and often quite full we will either walk there (6 mins) or transfer to a smaller number of cars.
From the north, on the A483, enter Pant and pass through most of the village. When you see the Cross guns on the right turn right up Briggs Lane just before the pub. Park by the roadside. As the Llanymynech Rocks Car Park is small and often quite full we will either walk there (6 mins) or transfer to a smaller number of cars.
From Shrewsbury and points east, the A5 and then the B4396 will deliver you to Llynclys crossroads, where you can turn left (south) into Pant, following the instructions for an approach from the north. Alternatively take the B4398, which turns left off the B4396 at Knockin and goes through Maesbury to Llanymynech Village, where you turn right to approach Pant from the south.
Beginners are welcome at all forays.

Please read the Foray Risk Assessment before attending. It is advisable to confirm with the leader that the foray is taking place, as on extremely rare occasions forays have had to be changed at short notice. Please email the Secretary for more details.
